The Easy Stand Alone, a winner of the PLASA 2004 Awards for Innovation, will be on show in its new IP version. The Stand Alone USB-DMX interface has been a great success since it was released and the new Stand Alone Ethernet DMX 512 interface (IP version) makes it possible to work either locally or via the Internet. This, says Sunlite, would be especially useful for remote-controlling or re-programming an architectural lighting installation from any computer in any country. The IP version also controls up to 512 channels and includes a real-time clock.
Also on show is the new Easy View software, designed to exploit the 3D rendering technologies available in the latest generation of graphics cards. Beam rendering has been greatly improved and allows visualizing of iris and zoom effects, prisms, gobo superposition and more. Stage rendering has also been improved for extra realism with textures and ambient lighting management. Various new features have been implemented, including a camera tool which makes it possible to capture a picture of your stage.
