China - Country and regional pavilions from Korea and Taiwan will be part of Prolight + Sound Shanghai to be held 12 - 15 October 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China.

The currrent number of exhibitors is more than 350, including pavilions exhibitors, and the total exhibition area has been increased to 23,000sq.m, reflecting exhibitor confidence in having their products exposed to domestic and international markets.

Evan Sha, deputy general manager, Messe Frankfurt Shanghai said, "The demand for exhibitors to join a pavilion is increasing as exhibitors recognise the value of having a prime location with prominent signage which easily attracts visitors to the pavilion. There are also other benefits for pavilion exhibitors such as access to a VIP lounge."

Making its debut at Prolight + Sound Shanghai will be the Korean pavilion with exhibitors that include JD-Media, Karak Company and Leem Products Co.

Karak Company director Jimmy Choi said, "We would like to advance to China which is emerging as a big high-end audio market and we can meet their demands with our new digital products. We predict the increase ratio of high-end market will be higher than the low-end market in China in the coming two years, and our digital PA products can be the beneficiary of such a market trend."

Exhibitors signed for the Taiwan pavilion include Litz Technologies Co Ltd and Ya Horng Electronic Co.

Prolight + Sound Shanghai is organised by Messe Frankfurt and INTEX, and it runs concurrently with Music China, Asia's largest international exhibition for musical instruments and accessories.
