Filling all three exhibition halls in London's Royal Horticultural Halls to capacity, the show will again play host to over 100 exhibiting companies who will showcase a comprehensive range of products and services for professionals involved with equipping, refurbishing or up-grading their drama studio, theatre, auditorium or multi-purpose performance space.
Committed to building on the show's success the organisers aim to expand the show's attendance which grew by 5% last year to over 2,400 visitors, and included theatre and venue managers, technical directors, technicians, technical managers, heads of drama departments, architects, consultants, designers, and building services managers.
To maintain this level of growth, the organisers are focussing time and money into an expanded PR and marketing campaign that will raise awareness of the show and have a drive into both the education and the public sectors.
An improved Registration and Welcome Area has been realised in The Lindley Hall. By dedicating more space to a new entrance point, the visitor experience will be enhanced. More registration stations will speed up the visitor arrivals procedure dramatically whilst optimising the show's Vincent Square entrance.
Theatre show director Roger Fox says: "Our aim is to build on last year's outstanding success and move the ABTT Theatre Show forward. We want both our visitors and exhibitors to maximise the opportunity the Show offers. Our hope is that by streamlining our reception arrangements we will greatly improve the visitor experience. We are anticipating an even greater footfall at the Show from end-user technicians from the UK and mainland Europe and we want them to be happy."
