The awards presentation will be held at a Gala dinner on the 21 May 2007 at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel in Dubai. The Awards are fully supported by Jonathan Speirs, of Speirs and Major Associates, who believes this event will further encourage and stimulate creativity in the field of lighting design.
The eight award categories, including the prestigious Middle East Lighting Designer of the Year, will be judged by a broad based panel of industry experts, including Barry Hannaford IALD director of independent lighting design company dpa lighting consultants.
