Eurovision Latest - X Factor twins Jedward have become Ireland's next Eurovision entrants with the song Lipstick. The duo beat four other acts on RTE's Late Late Show on Friday night and will now go through to the semi-finals of the contest in Dusseldorf in May.
Viewing Figures - This year's Grammy awards were watched by 26.66m TV viewers in the US, its biggest audience for 11 years, according to CBS. The show saw Lady Gaga emerging from a giant egg and an all-star tribute to soul queen Aretha Franklin. Reviews for Sunday's show have been mixed, with the Hollywood Reporter's critic writing, "The 53rd annual Grammy awards went on longer than a Bruce Springsteen concert - and not in a good way." Lady Gaga went home with three awards, as did rapper Jay-Z and soul singer John Legend.
West End News - < I>Dirty Dancing is to close in the West End following a run of nearly five years. The show, which opened at the Aldwych Theatre in October 2006, will close on 9 July, before embarking on a two-year UK tour. When it closes at the Aldwych, the musical will have played to nearly 2m audience members, according to a statement from producers.
The producers of Dirty Dancing added, "We have enjoyed a truly wonderful five years in London and we are very excited to be taking Dirty Dancing out on the road across the UK later this year. It has been an absolute pleasure to bring this much-loved and iconic story to life on stage night after night, and we want to thank our tremendous cast and company for making Dirty Dancing such a huge success in London."
