Off Stage - Stevie Wonder has pulled out of a concert raising money for the Friends of the Israel Defence Forces. The singer had been scheduled to perform at the Los Angeles event on 6 December. In a statement, Wonder said: "I am and have always been against war, any war, anywhere."

A ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas is currently in place, after a week of violence in Gaza last month. But tensions still run high. This week's gala concert supports an organisation which raises money for Israeli soldiers and their families. Wonder said the United Nations had recommended cancelling his performance because he is an official UN Messenger of Peace.

Festivals 2013 - Rihanna and Mumford & Sons have been announced as headliners for next year's T in the Park festival. The event, Scotland's biggest festival, is celebrating its 20th year in 2013 and will see US singer Rihanna make her debut at Balado Park in Kinross-shire. Mumford & Sons last performed at T when they headlined King Tut's Wah Wah Tent in 2010. Other artists on the line-up already are Mercury Prize winners Alt-J and Nottingham singer-songwriter Jake Bugg. Paloma Faith and Icelandic group Of Monsters And Men have also been announced.

- Muse have cancelled three of their European tour dates after front man Matt Bellamy broke two bones in his right foot. Concerts in Oslo, Stockholm and Malmo are affected. The tour is expected to continue on 10 December in Helsinki, Finland. "Muse would like to apologise to all their fans who have tickets to these shows. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase," a statement on their website said.

Comic Star - Paul McCartney has fulfilled a "personal ambition" by being immortalised in The Dandy. The former Beatle appears alongside Desperate Dan in the last-ever print edition, which goes on sale today. According to publishers DC Thomson, Sir Paul got in touch after they announced the end of the comic in August. He wrote: "In 1963, in the NME, when asked what my personal ambition was, I replied - to have my picture in The Dandy! I hope it's not too late!"
