NTW will use the money to create Border Games, a piece of live, immersive theatre, alongside a simultaneous online version available on The Space that will allow a second audience to interact with the live experience. John McGrath, NTW artistic director, said that digital theatre had been a key part of the company since it was formed in 2009. "Some of our best work has grown out of the interactions of site specific and digital theatre. The Space Prize gives us an opportunity to take this work a step further with Border Games - a playful piece about a serious issue, in which real world and digital dramas interact with each other in dynamic and disturbing ways."

It had until November to start broadcasting but did not have studio premises or equipment, having been unable to secure sufficient financing. Administrator Duff & Phelps said the firm, also known as BLTV, would work with Ofcom to transfer the licence and return funds to creditors.

Megadeth's website said its 6 August gig in Tel Aviv was cancelled because "passage" for the band and its gear could not be "guaranteed". Green's concert in Jerusalem on 19 August would have been his first in Israel.
