The new studio in Le Marais District of Paris is also the base for two respected acoustic designers who have joined Theatre Projects Paris.
Seb Jouan Victoria and Chavez Thielemann will work with the rest of Theatre Projects' consultants on theatre design projects internationally. They will also provide standalone acoustic design services to architects designing sophisticated performance and entertainment spaces.
They are already working on several projects including the new Yves Saint-Laurent museum in Marrakech, the new Abu Dhabi District Lyric Theatre, the Weltmuseum in Vienna, The Casino de Paris and Folies Bergères in Paris, the next V&A exhibition and a recital hall for the Dublin National Concert Hall.
Seb is a design-led acoustician with a wealth of experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, specialising in the acoustic design of performing arts centres, museums and galleries, music schools, educational buildings, recording studios, public spaces, urban soundscapes, and sonic art installations. He's also known for his work in 3D auralisation systems and the creation of sound environments, as well as his collaborations with artists on sound projects.
Victoria has specialized in room acoustics since 2004, with a particular emphasis on spaces for the performing arts. Her acoustic expertise encompasses both new-build facilities as well as renovation projects and embraces all types of performance venues - from concert halls and opera houses to drama theatres, multipurpose rooms, museums, cinemas, and libraries.
