Tomcat, a manufacturer of staging and lighting support equipment for the entertainment industry, has called Midland its international headquarters since the company's founding in 1987. The company boasts as clients some of the biggest names in entertainment including the Rolling Stones, U2, Janet Jackson, Disney and Cirque du Soleil.

Tomcat Global is the parent company to Tomcat USA, Inc. the largest of our manufacturing facilities, established in 1987, Tomcat UK, Ltd. located in Wirral, United Kingdom, established in 1996; Tomcat de Mexico in Guadalajara, Mexico, established in 1999; and Tomcat's sister company Brilliant Stages in Hitchen, Herts, United Kingdom specialising in custom staging fabrication, acquired in 1998. The company also has two distribution hubs; one in Las Vegas, Nevada and one in Nashville, Tennessee where the company plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities.
