Tourflex Cabling builds cable assemblies to customers' specific requirements in its manufacturing facility in High Wycombe, not far from London. The level of customisation even goes down to adding specific heat shrink labelling, RFIDs and barcodes as required by the client. Typical customers include rental and production companies, as well as venues and installers.
Phill Capstick, AC-ET’s managing director said: "Custom cable assemblies for Entertainment, Film and TV is an important part of the business, but it’s always been difficult to explain the full range of what we’re able to do as there are thousands of options. Having a dedicated site for Tourflex Cabling helps us to do this.
Our customers often need personalised cables at short notice, and in high volumes. By manufacturing in-house in the UK and holding large stocks of cables and connectors, Tourflex Cabling can offer great service."
Phill continues: "We’ve invested heavily in testing equipment so that each and every cable assembly manufactured in-house conforms to the high build quality that our customers require, and we think this puts us in a leading position within the market because we know how important this is to them.
“We’re looking to further develop the website over the coming months to provide more details of the products and services that we supply and the connectors that we use, including our wide range of Tourflex raw cables and specialist Tourmate connectors."
Tourflex Cabling is represented on the A.C. Entertainment Technologies stand at PLASA 2017 (stand E30) and IBC (stand E71 in hall 12).
