UK - The 2007 edition of the Total Production International Awards was staged at the Novotel London West in Hammersmith, west London on Monday 5 February. During the 'Swinging Sixties'-themed ceremony, TPi Awards creative director Mark Cunningham announced that the event is set to grow even bigger in 2008, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Total Production International magazine. Lighting, S+H Technical Support, ShowLED Animation, Edwin Shirley Trucking, Local Crew Ltd and Sunbaba.

Tragically, the ceremony was preceded by the shocking news of the death of Richard Willis, SSE Audio Group's sales manager, who collapsed and died at the venue as he was preparing for dinner. During the ceremony, DiGiCo's Bob Doyle paid a heartfelt tribute to Richard, who was just 46 years old. All at TPi and Mondiale Publishing send their condolences and sympathy to Richard's family and close friends.

A full production report on the event and a Richard Willis tribute will be published in the March 2
