Trantec's S4.16 UHF radio mic system, pre-fitted into a 19" flightcase.
UK - Trantec has announced that it has added to the potential of its recently launched S4.16 UHF radio mic system with the introduction of a 'Racked n Ready' version, which delivers the 16-channel system pre-fitted into a 19" professional flightcase. "The S4.16 system combines world-class manufacturing with an understanding of challenging RF applications," the company says, adding that the compact, turnkey system will appeal to theatres, schools, churches, audio-visual and MI applications.

The S4.16 features 16 selectable frequencies, and is also complete with antenna distribution, head amplifiers, cables and stands. These 16 frequencies incorporate the four license-free channels used in its sister product, Trantec's S4.4, which all operate indermodulation free. Its remote antennae is connected through Trantec's antenna distribution units, which gives the S4.16 maximum performance and flexibility unparalleled at the price, the company claims.

Allowing up to 12 of its 16 channels to operate simultaneously, the system is available in two transmitter variants - beltpack and handheld. The handheld system comprises a fully integrated handheld microphone, which features a cardioid dynamic capsule. The Beltpack system comprises a beltpack transmitter, which is supplied with a small lapel tie-clip microphone.

Trantec's sales executive Mark Parkhouse commented: "We're delighted to have expanded the S4.16's potential offering it as a racked and ready system - it mirrors our impetus at Trantec to design and build products that provide realistic and cost effective solutions for today's multi-channel applications."

The S4.16 system will be showcased on Trantec's stand at the Pro Light&Sound Show in Frankfurt on stand A16, Hall 8.0.
