Triple E's Managing Director David Edelstein will unleash SDRIVE, a track mounted motor for moving stage curtains, for the first time outside of Britain at the annual LDI show on the Rose Brand booth number 1029, 19-21 October 2012 at Las Vegas Convention Centre.
The American launch follows a hugely successful UK premiere of SDRIVE at Portsmouth's magical King's Theatre in September.
"SDRIVE is the result of demand from the industry and our distributors for a budget motor aimed at smaller venues," says Edelstein. "It's easy to specify and easy to install, and is designed to motorise both straight and curved systems and will be available off the shelf."
It's thought the SDRIVE, with its more affordable price and extremely efficient and quiet motor, will prove to be the preferred choice for small and medium-sized performance spaces.
"We've been developing Triple E's American market with Rose Brand for nearly 10 years," continues Edelstein. "Our ERAIL track was successfully introduced to this market last year and the new SDRIVE motor is the perfect way to automate it. Installation is plug and play, and we think the combination will prove very successful. We have worked on some terrific projects with Rose Brand over the last 10 years especially with our Unitrack and Chain track systems. This new combination sees us moving more into the high volume area of the market."
