The Tripline system provides a clear visual indication of the stage edge even in complete show blackout situations by means of a line of LEDs positioned 30cm apart. This visual front line also has a failsafe backup in the application of a photo-luminous strip which will glow in the dark for up to eight hours without the need for an electrical power supply.
Made from aluminium box section (25mm x 50mm) and available 1m, 2m and 3m lengths, the unit can be mounted along the front line of a stage to provide a physical barrier in order to stop flightcases, stage trucks and Tallescopes from rolling over and into the auditorium or pit areas. It can be fitted temporarily or permanently, which makes it ideal for touring or for ever changing venues.
The top and rear of the Tripline unit can be specified in a number of different finishes to provide high grip, high visibility, photoluminescent or a discreet finish so that an audience is completely unaware that the Tripline unit is even in operation, the company says.
The colour of the LEDs can be configured for multiple uses either to demarcate separate areas of the stage to help in choreography to ensure dancers hit their marks or they can line up on an unlit stage evenly. Green LEDs could be used to show access points or stairways beyond the TripLine.
