Turbosound's Indian distributor Narain Proaudio Lighting Pvt Ltd was once again called upon to design and install a high-end Turbosound system of TCS Contracting loudspeakers at 10 Lounge. Narain has already completed four venues for the popular club chain in Raipur, Jabalpur, Bhopal, and now at 10 Lounge at Secunderabad, making a significant mark on the party circuit.
The most recent 10 Lounge venture is a more up-market nightclub, aimed at a younger and higher energy clientele with an international feel.
The install at 10 Lounge called for a Turbosound rig that would deliver high sound pressure levels at all frequencies, and so Oswin, the man behind Hyderabad-based rental company Hangar 18 Entertainment, who was instrumental in the system design and tuning, specified a combination of models from the TCS contracting series and the TXD series.
A total of four wall-mounted TCS-122/64 biamped 12" two-ways (with 60° horizontal x 40° vertical dispersion) and two TCS-B218 subwoofers built into alcoves power the dance floor, with four TXD-12M passive 12" two-ways, four TCS-081 passive 8" two-ways, and two TXD-215 dual 15" subs being used as fills. There are also two PDRs each with two TXD-12Ms and one TXD-115 sub.
