John Ellis who joins Turbosound to head up customer support.
Turbosound has announced the appointment of John Ellis as the company's new customer support engineer. His primary role will be to act as Turbosound's interface with installation contractors and acoustic consultants, working alongside customers to advise on system specification and design, with a particular emphasis on fixed installation projects.

Previously sales and installations manager at B&H Syscom, John brings to Turbosound his considerable practical experience of specifying and installing sound reinforcement systems. These included some of the UK's first installations of Turbosound loudspeakers in hotels and houses of worship, utilizing both TCS and Qlight series. Earlier in his career, John worked as a freelance sound engineer, subsequently joining TOA as UK projects manager. This role provided him with a broad background in the design and specification of systems, and involved close liaison with consultants and installers across a range of projects - in stadiums, sports centres, theatres, concert halls, churches and shopping centres.

Principally based at Turbosound's UK headquarters, Ellis will also be working closely with the company's international distributors. This aspect of his role will involve site visits around the world, to provide distributors with design support where needed, and particularly for the larger projects, such as sports arenas.
