This year alone, Upbeat has catered for Sport Relief and sponsors BT on the charity Million Pound Challenge, for 750 people as they made their way from John O'Groats to Lands End with Threshold Sports in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain, fed 13,000 competitors at the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge in Battersea Park, looked after the artists performing at Hard Rock Calling and Wireless festivals in Hyde Park, served the celebrities at The National TV Award, sated crowds at the O2 Rugby at Twickenham and fulfilling an on-going contract with London Underground.
On the eve of its birthday week, Upbeat was at Battersea Power Station with Red Bull X-Fighters, feeding the riders and judges behind the scenes, working alongside sister companies Eat To The Beat, who catered for the crew and production teams and e2B Logistics who handle Red Bull's event marketing equipment and logistics.
Operations director Bonnie May comments, "There have been so many highlights over the past 21 years. I particularly remember events such as the worldwide X-Box launch, The Queen's Golden Jubilee and a very special wedding for people I cannot name. There are almost too many events to remember and I would like to thank all of our clients and the hundreds of team members who have worked with us for their dedication and hard work."
