Technicians from Telesonic Valencia, S.L. were charged with matching D.A.S. systems to the needs of each area of this sports complex. Long-throw BiDriver systems were consequently employed for the main arena since they are specifically designed for applications requiring wide acoustic coverage and music reproduction with no compromises in voice intelligibility.
Systems from the new DR series were adopted for the grandstand in the covered arena. Audio for this smaller area is offered by seven D.A.S. model DR-8TW units. Adjacent to the covered arena are two training or warm-up enclosures where three DR-8T units are especially designed for use outdoors and meet IP-54 standards.
Loudspeakers from the Ceiling Series were deployed in the social club. A total of 34 six-inch model CL-6TB units, complete with line transformer and backcan were distributed in the main access areas and restaurant section.
All of these systems are powered by amplifiers from the D.A.S. CSA-T series. The installation was completed using a model DSP-26 digital signal processor, two model HDJ-2270 professional CD-MP-3 players from the Disco Series, and an Ambient Series A-10.2 ten-input mixer. Sound distribution for each area is managed by a Musicall system from the Dutch firm DATEQ.
