UK - Adlib Lighting supplied equipment and crew for the recent Velvet Revolver UK tour. They first worked with the band on their successful 2007 tour. Adlib Lighting's Pete Abraham says: "It was a pleasure to be back working with Velvet Revolver again. It was an extremely well thought-out design and looked great in all the venues, even when reduced to fit the smaller stage sizes."

Working closely with LD Fuji (David Convertino), the Adlib Lighting team consisted of Andy Rowe, Tim Spilman and Richard Babington. The tour visited a wide variety of different sized venues - from regional Academies to London's Brixton Academy and the Brighton Centre, so the rig had to be adaptable.

With traditional rock 'n' roll aesthetics at its core - beam technology, high contrast bright and bold colours - the lighting design was based on two trusses. The front truss contained 60 PARs and 4 8-lite blinders, while the back truss featured 48 PARs, 6 Martin Professional MAC 2K Profile moving lights, 5 Martin Atomic strobes, 4 8-Lites and 3 bars of ACLs. On the deck were 6 MAC 2K Washes.

Adlib Lighting supplied a GrandMA lighting desk that was specified by Fuji plus 2 Lycian 1.2K follow spots for the tour, and the band supplied their own backdrop.
