Promoted by David 'Boogie Dave' Whittall, Ace supported the event with a Martin Audio Modular System that included the 215 MK3 bass bins and Martin Audio MH212 Philishave midrange - as well as top boxes. The entire system was powered by BGW's equally iconic Grand Touring Amplifiers.
"We ran totally in analogue from the microphone to the loudspeaker, giving a really warm and clear sound which this system is renowned for," stated Alex Czechowski. Bands playing through the system included Major Triads, Too Many T's, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra and The Beatbox Collective.
"Acts such as these show the real raw and diverse styles of new British music currently on the touring circuit.
"Everyone had a great time," he continued. "Using six 215 Mk3's per side provided us with lots of headroom and as for the Philishaves - what can you say? With this system the more you use the better it gets."
Sound engineer Dave Callanan was equally positive. "The rig sounded great, giving real impact and clarity to the performances of the acts."
