For the backdrop lighting of this stunning event, lighting designer Toni Amoros used 10 W-DMX WhiteBox F-1 G4 Transceivers to send signal to 45 Searchlight Xenon 4Kw placed on one side of the river with the console placed 350m away on the other side. On the fixture side of the river, the signal was then distributed over 1 km to all of the searchlights. Valook supervised and supplied all W-DMX equipment.
Francisco Yanez Valdivia, trainer & product manager for Valook explains, "This project would have been impossible without W-DMX. We had no problems during the three days of testing and programming. On the day of the show, we changed antennas and changed the transmission frequency to 5.8 GHz just to avoid any unexpected interference. This ability is very valuable. Not to mention the IP65 rating of the WhiteBox when outdoor situations can be uncertain."
Niclas Arvidsson, CEO of Wireless Solution said, "Valook is continually impressing us with their creative use of W-DMX in Chile. We look forward to many more successful projects with them."
