UK - POLARaudio, UK distributor for Dynacord, presented Tom Spooner of Watford with a new PowerMate series PM1000MK3. Spooner entered a prize draw at the launch of the new PowerMate series back in September 2010 at the PLASA show. The presentation happened at Spooner's local Branch of Digital Village in Barnet.

The new PowerMate supersedes Dynacord's first and second generation PowerMate ranges, which sold in excess of 100,000 units worldwide. The new range consists of three models PowerMate 1000 (10 channel strips), PowerMate 1600 (16 channel strips) and PowerMate³ 2200 (22 channel strips), all models come complete with Cubase LE software and are designed for a wide range of applications including fixed Installation, live performance, orchestras and touring bands.

Winner, Tom Spooner commented, "I was shocked when I got the email to say I had won the prize draw, I visited the POLARaudio stand to check out the new PowerMate range at the PLASA show, I entered the prize draw and then forgot all about it. I am delighted to have won, I have always been a fan of Dynacord and I am looking forward to getting home and having a play with my new PM1000MK3."

Alex Naylor Davis of Polar Audio added: "Since the launch at PLASA 2010, the new PowerMate has been incredibly popular, the product is 'flying out the door', early indications suggest that the MK3 will surpass the success of its legendary predecessors."
