The event, which is free to attend, will focus on the range of 'ready to stream' solutions from Roland, including the popular multi format VR-50HD HD AV mixer, the VR-3EX AV mixer and the V-4EX video mixer. Guests will be able to get hands-on with the products to gain a practical understanding of web streaming and recording in different applications such as presentations, education and live events.
The 'all in one design' of the VR-3EX and the VR-50HD combine AV mixer, multi-viewer touchscreen and built in USB ports for web streaming and recording into a single unit, providing an ideal setup that can be operated by one person. Whilst the VR-3EX offers a feature rich but simple live production switcher, the multi format and High Definition VR-50HD can be used as a complete, portable HD studio. Both products deliver functionality that has until now required a number of peripheral devices to accomplish.
Business development manager for Roland Systems Group, Chris Webster, commented, "Web streaming is a term used for a variety of activities and the aim of our event is to clarify what it is, and to demonstrate how Roland products are being used by production professionals in this area"
Content of the day will cover raising production values, reducing kit volume for events, understanding the components of streaming and an insight into the Roland product portfolio. There will be sessions at 10.00 and 14.00 and guests can book their place by emailing Leisuretec on teczone@leisuretec.co.uk or by calling 01525 850085.
