The venue was redeveloped in October to improve the club's amenities and this has now been followed with the installation of a full new FOH system, supplied and installed by Opus Audio. The new system comprises an Opus XS234 loudspeaker management system and three Opus HD Series high definition power amplifiers driving four Opus SB218 sub-bass and two Opus CS1000 active mid/high loudspeaker systems.
Commenting on the system and refit, Derren Miller-Price, general manager of West OneFour said: "In the past I'd never truly felt that our sound systems were up to the standard the venue could achieve or warranted. When Andy Fox of Opus bought his system in to demonstrate I could instantly hear it was superior to any other I had used or heard - this was what we needed. It handles the wide variety of music types we host here with superb fidelity, tremendous power when needed and absolute reliability."
In addition to their own extensive schedules, which includes DJ nights and all-day events, West OneFour is often booked out for private hires and corporate functions, as well as hosting larger live band events, such as the Emergenza European Battle of the Bands, Feedme Music and Orange Promotions events.
