Central Hall Westminster (CHW) is central London's largest purpose built conference centre, combining historical elegance with cutting-edge technical capabilities. The Edwardian landmark building situated adjacent to Westminster Abbey has engaged high profile conferences, special events and local business meetings since 1912. The architectural features of the building include the iconic dome, spacious entrance foyers and hallways, marble flooring and a sweeping grand staircase, the design of which is based on the Paris Opera House.
Central Hall Westminster offers 22 event spaces, including The Great Hall which seats up to 2,200 delegates and features Europe's largest self-supporting domed ceiling, creating an intimate atmosphere in the circular shaped, tiered balcony hall with natural daylight.
White Light will be investing in new audio-visual and lighting equipment to be permanently installed in a number of rooms at Central Hall, with the partnership spanning across all events held at the venue including concerts, corporate and private events.
Paul Southern, managing director at Central Hall Westminster, comments, "This is an exciting new chapter for us at Central Hall. We pride ourselves on delivering first class events with excellent customer service and our new partnership with White Light will continue to cement our commitment to quality. We hope that with permanent equipment installed in many rooms the cost to our clients will be reduced and the quality improved; a great result all round."
White Light will be delivering all elements of technical production, with three dedicated members of staff on-site fulltime. Richard Wilson, director at White Light, adds, "We are very excited to partner with the Central Hall Westminster team to make the venue shine. This agreement will ensure the best technical solutions for clients and their guests as well as supporting the development of the venue long term."
