The London-based supplier has earned its reputation for quality products and reliable service throughout its more than four decades in the entertainment business. The company has taken the decision to expand based on increasing demand, especially from existing clients. "Our success has always come from listening to and understanding our customers," explains Bryan Raven, managing director for White Light. "With more and more clients requesting sound packages and support, offering these services just makes sense."
Leading the department is Lee Dennison, formerly of Delta Sound and Autograph. Since his arrival at White Light in November 2014, Dennison has set out to build the company's audio stocks with equipment from industry leading manufacturers. He says White Light is uniquely positioned within the market. "With White Light's resources and market experience, we have had the opportunity to bring in only the best in terms of both equipment and team members. We are able to hit the ground running in a way that only White Light can."
Dennison's new team includes installations project manager Marcus Rice, events projects manager Marcus Wadland, and event services manager Jamie Wells, among others. The audio team will work closely with existing sales, projects, and events teams at White Light to deliver sound for venues, installations, and events.
In early 2015, White Light has already added more than £300,000 worth of new audio equipment to its hire stock from manufacturers including Clear Com, EM Acoustics, Full Fat Audio, Shure, Sennheiser and Yamaha. For sales and installations, the company is now a dealer for EM Acoustics, Full Fat Audio, Shure, Sennheiser, and Yamaha Commercial Audio products. White Light expects to add more manufacturers to this list in the coming year.
"We are very excited to be able to supply equipment from some of the best audio manufacturers in the business, right from the start," said Dennison. "It's a testament to the strength and value of the White Light brand - and it's just the beginning." Requests for audio sales, installation, and event services are already pouring in to White Light and the team is expecting a busy year ahead.
