UK - Following what has been an extremely busy and exciting year for White Light, the complete production solution specialist will be returning to PLASA Focus Leeds at the Royal Armouries Museum from 10-11 May. With over 130 different exhibitors working across audio, lighting, video and rigging, along with presentations, technical demonstrations and panel discussions, this year's PLASA Focus Leeds promises to be the biggest one yet.

Since its previous visit to PLASA Focus Leeds, WL has grown exponentially. Alongside expanding its audio department along with acquiring video technology company Shock Solutions, the company has worked on a whole host of projects, including the Rugby World Cup, the NME Awards, London Fashion Week and many more. For all of these projects, WL drew on its unparalleled inventory of entertainment technology; many of which will be showcased at PLASA Focus Leeds.

One of the several products on show at PLASA Focus Leeds includes ImageCue: an easy-to-use image server for which WL is the exclusive UK distributor. The product has already made a huge impact in the world of playback devices, having won the LDI 2015 PLASA Member's Choice Award for Best Gadget. The server provides control of high definition still images and videos, using only twelve channels of DMX512. It is extremely fast, with images and videos able to be selected and played back in less than a quarter of a second.

Joining ImageCue will be the recently launched Mantra Lite from LSC Lighting. The Mantra makes control of LED fixtures easy and intuitive, whilst still allowing control of moving lights and conventionals. Mantra combines the ease of use of a fader-based console, with the power of a touch screen graphical user interface. The software also acts as a guide for those using it, ensuring a very easy learning curve for even the most novice user. Also on show will be LSC's Gen VI, which is an advanced dimming system. The GenVI represents the sixth generation of dimmers designed by LSC and allows users to configure any of its outputs in any combination.

WL will also be displaying the latest products from the CORE Lighting range; a company for which WL is the exclusive supplier. This includes the CORE Lighting StripPoint, which was recently purchased by the Science Museum to illuminate the building's exterior. This lightweight lithium battery-powered 1 metre LED batten uses Wireless DMX control and has a 4000 lumen output, weighing only 5.5kgs. WL will also be showcasing the CORE PinPoint Battery Wireless Pinspot: a tiny lightweight lithium battery-powered LED pinspot lamp with Wireless DMX and Bluetooth control, ideal for exhibits, sculptures and task lighting.

Alongside these will be Look Solutions Unique 2.1, a haze machine that works almost silently. With its variable output, the machine can be used in many fields, and any desired effect, from the finest mist to a thick haze, can be achieved. WL will also be displaying the Wireless Solution BlackBox G5 Series along with the Micro Series. Both of these revolutionary products are the most compact and reliable DMX products on the market today, and both are sold exclusively through WL.

WL will be exhibiting on stand N-C24 and will be represented by business development managers Jonathan Haynes, Richard Knott, Mark Morley and Ritchie Reed, who has recently joined the WL team.

Ritchie comments, "I am delighted to be attending my first PLASA Focus Leeds with WL. We will be showcasing some incredible products that appeal to a whole range of markets and we cannot wait to catch up with old friends and develop new working relationships."
