The company is holding a Designing Vision contest that invites students and young lighting designers to create a stage or club design using Capture Polar software student edition. First prize in the contest is a free trip for two to InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas from 18-20 June plus Capture Polar Extended Software (a $4,000 value). Second place prize is Capture Polar Basic Software, (a $1,500 value); and the third place prize is Capture Polar Solo Software (a $370 value).
Deadline for Designing Vision contest entries is 5pm Pacific Standard Time Friday 6 December, 2013. The winners will be announced on Friday 20 December. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be eligible.
The contest is open to all legal residents of the continental United States. All entries must be done using Capture Polar Student Edition design software. This software can be downloaded free from the company's website. Entries will be judged on originality, aesthetics and the functionality of the design.
