Audio Spotlight Speakers utilize ultrasound to produce a highly directional loudspeaker: only those within the 'beam' of sound will hear the program source - those outside hear nothing. It is because of the high directivity of these speakers that they are especially suitable for use in libraries and other environments where the intrusion of sound in quiet places has prevented concepts such as 'talking book' areas or point-of-sale displays taking root.
