Products available will include the range of Yamaha AV receivers, digital sound projectors, CD and DVD players which will be available with, or without rack mounting kits.
The move comes as Yamaha confirms that it is experiencing significant growth in sales to the installation market, an area the company has been concentrating on since the successful launch of its IS speaker range and the recent introduction of new CobraNet and EtherSound enabled DME distributed DSP and I/O solutions.
Supporting this growth, Commercial Audio (UK) has also appointment a dedicated installation specialist and increased their field support capability with new hires.
Recent sales include music venues, clubs, theatres, conference centres, and hotels, including The Stables (Milton Keynes), The Royal Theatre (Northampton), the Roxy Bar (London), and the Riverbank Park Plaza (London) where multiple zoning solutions using DME64n were required for the hotel and conference centre.
Nick Cook, general manager for Yamaha Commercial Audio (UK) said of the new arrangement, "We are delighted to be able to offer our dealer network access to this already successful range of products. The commercial installation and contractor market is a very important growth area for Yamaha. We are always looking to provide our customers with new high-quality products and with the addition of Yamaha Electronics audio products to our range we are one step closer to being able to deliver a complete Yamaha solution to the install market."
