It was attended by representatives from MGG Productions, Sound Headquarters, Pan Tilt, Integrity Productions and Production Projects.
The course covered the latest Titan 6 software which is packed with new features including New Master playback functions, Bit Map Effects, Patching, Titan Net and fresh Cue List options.
"The response was good," said Nick Britz from DWR who presented the training. "The attendees said they learnt a lot and I think it went very well."
To facilitate the ongoing training at DWR, a Christie LX 605 projector, screen and lapel mic was purchased from Stage Audio Works. This has ensured that learners are able to see bright images on the screen and clearly hear the trainer. Said Gustav Barnard from Stage Audio Works, "It's vitally important that we support training initiatives to develop and grow the industry."
Duncan Riley from DWR also commented, "Our plan is to empower technicians and crew with affordable, hands-on training. It makes a big difference and saves time when you understand the functionality of gear purchased. I would personally like to thank everyone who took the time to join us. Thank you also to Nick Britz who is doing an amazing job at making these training sessions possible."
