The amplifier features a low impedance output, as well as 50/70/100V constant voltage outputs. The outputs may be used simultaneously as long as the total of 400W loudspeaker load is not exceeded, say the company.
Under normal working conditions, the amplifier operates quietly, benefiting from its passive convection cooling. When the maximum performance is required and its passive cooling ribs exceed a given temperature, a quiet and controlled fan aids the cooling system. This feature makes the AX-1400T power amplifier an ideal choice for churches and other noise-sensitive applications.
All output connectors are fully touch proof isolated to comply with European Safety Standard EN60065. The only front control is the gain potentiometer, the knob of which may be removed and sealed against operating error. Power switch is on the rear of the amplifier as well as an IEC connector for AC power.
The AX-1400T power amplifier, which is designed in Germany and manufactured in the EU, comes with a six-year warranty. Find out more at ProLight&Sound (12-15 March, Frankfurt), on stand 8.0A01 (Pro Audio-Technik).
