Brompton’s Tessera G1 wins NAB award
- Details
The G1 marks a significant milestone for the industry by being the first-ever receiver card to support 10Gb Ethernet over fibre direct to the panel, says Brompton. It is capable of supporting one million pixels, ready for a new era of ultra-fine pixel pitch panels, but is also capable of driving panels at refresh rates up to 1,000 fps (frames per second).
“Receiving The Product of the Year Award for our Tessera G1 is a proud moment for the entire Brompton team, as it validates the tireless efforts and unwavering commitment we put into developing G1,” concludes Richard Mead, CEO of Brompton. “With its ground-breaking capabilities, G1 has the potential to transform not only the live events and virtual production sectors but other industries as well.
“Moreover, the immense processing power of the G1 has opened the door for TrueLight, which offers an industry-changing solution for scenarios where the LED panel serves as a lighting source. We are excited to see the industry adopt these new technologies to achieve even more realistic in-camera visual effects, and we look forward to exploring a whole new realm of possibilities for applications that demand uncompromising image quality and colour accuracy.”
