New at PLASA'06 is the Alpha Profile 1200 - a professional beam-shaper which combines the technology of the Alpha projectors with Clay Paky's patented framing system. The Alpha Profile 1200 has a wide-range zoom of 10° - 30°, a "total colour system", 14 gobos, animation effect and a prism. All the effects can be combined with endless varieties of beam shapes and sizes.
Also new at PLASA'06, the Alpha Wash 1200 is the most powerful washlight in the Alpha family. The optical system uses uniform CMY colour mixing which, together with a fixed colour wheel with linear CTO and a CTB filter, allows every chromatic combination to be achieved, says Clay Paky. Its wide zoom (11°-55°), indexable beam-shaper and high light output even at maximum aperture, allows its short, medium and long range use, in professional and architectural lighting, the company says.
Alpha Wash Halo 1200 combines high brightness with the versatility of a 1,200W, 80V (3,200°k) halogen lamp, usable with any supply voltage that may be required. It offers a linear zoom (14°-64°), CMY colour mixing, linear frost, electronic dimmer, indexable beam shaper and motorized Top Hat. Aimed at most professional lighting sectors, it offers the typical advantages of the halogen lamp: smooth, uniform field, warm colour tones and gradual dimming.
Finally, the Alpha Spot Easy 1200 is an "extremely bright" 1200W effects projector, the manufacturer says. It features all the qualities of the Alpha Range and is primarily designed for use nightclubs and bars, it is also ideal for lower-budget touring and architectural lighting applications, the company says.
