The Favourite Event Technology Supplier award, for companies that have developed an innovative technological solution which can be used to deliver, monitor, analyse or improve events, will face a public vote before gold, silver and bronze winners are revealed. Potential applicants need to demonstrate how their solution benefits the sector and why the industry should vote for them.
"Whilst the judging panel represents a broad cross-section of the industry, and impressing them is no mean feat, we thought it was equally as important to give a voice to the industry, and enable those that use these technologies on a daily basis to show their support," explains organiser Adam Parry of AMP Events.
Alongside the People's Choice Award, AMP Events has also launched eight other new categories to encompass venue management software; event monetisation; video, web casting or streaming solutions; RFID; projection mapping; gamification; data collection and social media, for the Awards' third outing in London later this year.
Parry added, "Interest and interaction with the awards remains extremely positive as suppliers, organisers and agencies look to highlight the software, applications and innovations that enhance their events. We're hopeful that by adding new categories we can continue to celebrate the diversity of the technology sector."
The Event Technology Awards will be held on Wednesday 11 November 2015.
