One of the fastest growing lighting and rigging rental companies in the UK, HSL services a host of entertainment sectors including theatre, live events, concert tours, festivals, television productions, corporate presentations and special events of all types. The last 12 months has seen an increase in activity in every market sector for HSL, the company reports.
HSL has large stocks of all the latest lighting technology - including moving lights, LED light sources, media servers and PC-controlled automation systems - from all the leading industry manufacturers and brands. It also has a vast array of trussing, rigging and ground support systems, plus its own specialist-designed products like the Totem PA, lighting and video tower range.
Recent concert and touring projects for HSL include Snow Patrol, Keane, Massive Attack, Simon Webbe and the Stereophonics, while 2007 Festivals serviced by the company include O2 Wireless in Leeds, Creamfields, Bestival, Rockness, The Full Ponty and Knowsley Hall (see Lighting&Sound International magazine, September 2007). Television clients now include the International and URRD Eisteddfords, Golden Balls, The Dame Edna Everage Show, the Charlotte Church Show and many more, while theatre work includes Cabaret at The Lyric, Shaftesbury Avenue and Treats at The Garrick Theatre, both in London's West End, and The Hollow and The Last Laugh on tour. The company also supplied the prestigious Holland Park Opera Festival and all the main C Venues performance areas at the acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
