According to Sound Division's, David Graham, Just Oriental's needs were straightforward. "The whole system needed refreshing and updating. Some equipment was completely replaced, some was refurbished, and we also added several new elements to the system in order to give Just Oriental more options and more flexibility in how they choose to run it."
The new equipment included a pair of JBL Control 28 monitor speakers, and four of the original B&W CCM65 ceiling speakers were replaced. Also new to the system were a Cloud Z4 four-zone mixer and a Cloud CX-A4 multi-channel amp, enabling Sound Division to create a multi-zoned system across three separate areas: the restaurant which requires low-level background music; the bar/lounge area which is louder; and a third quieter lounge area which offers a more mellow atmosphere than the lively cocktail bar. Source material is delivered via a 4GB Apple iPod Nano.
Just Restaurant's Vicky O'Hare was delighted with the service provided by Sound Division. "Even though we didn't require a huge system, Sound Division nevertheless went out of their way to accommodate our requests and provide us with options for the optimum solution. Furthermore, their service was both timely and cost-effective. We're very pleased with the results."
