TheatreCraft is open to anyone between the ages of 17 and 25 and provides a unique glimpse into the behind the scenes world of theatre - from stage management to wig-making, lighting to marketing and writing to designing.

PLASA Skills will be present at the event to give young people advice about getting the skills and experience they need to give them a head start towards an enjoyable career in theatre.

Sixty Sharpys form the basis of the touring rigs hung in chevron-like formations above the stage and mounted at 90º angles in the show's iconic ParaCube wall. Angus Chinn, installations manager for Utopium Lighting with headquarters in Bristol, specified eight Chauvet Professional Q-Wash 560Z-LED wash fixtures, which light the performers on stage and shoot bright beams toward the crowds.

"We replaced some aging Chauvet Professional Q-Wash 575 lights that were becoming too expensive to run and maintain and brought in the powerful Q-Wash 560Z-LED ones, which fit very well in the venue," Chinn said.

The Met, located in the city's Fortitude Valley, is a huge purpose-built nightlife venue that 'prides itself on offering the latest in lighting and sound technology'.

Reports of a possible tour to mark The Stones's 50th anniversary had been circulating for a number of years. Making the announcement in a video on YouTube, the band said, "You must have guessed this was coming."
