Owner Francisco 'Paco' Espejo comments: "Here in Andalusia there are a large number of big, heavy systems that are being used throughout the region. But we were looking for a lighter and more compact system, both to be more flexible and to differentiate ourselves from our competitors. The system needs to be deployable for productions with smaller ground supports or rigging towers, but should also be capable of covering really big shows. During the demo at the AFIAL tradeshow in Madrid, COHEDRA impressed us both for its easy handling and for its sound, especially since we have known and appreciated the quality of HK AUDIO products for many years."
Maysonic is currently using the COHEDRA system for the tour of the Spanish band La Madre Que Los Pario. "This band plays in the most diverse venues where sometimes it is not even possible to fly the system. This is where the flexibility of the COHEDRA system really pays off," adds Paco Espejo. "The equipment by itself, however, doesn't do the job on its own - the staff must be competent, too. So we sent two of our engineers to the HK Audio's 'Hkademy' in Germany for the three-day COHEDRA Operator Seminar. The system is very easy and intuitive to use already, but after the seminar, where you learn all the technical details behind it, you can simply operate it even more efficiently."
