PLASA 2018: Artistic Licence unveils daliGate quad
- Details
Artistic Licence CEO and product designer Wayne Howell will be present throughout the show to answer questions. Howell is also hosting a seminar on the latest news and views on industry control protocols at 1.30pm on Sunday, 16 September.
daliGate quad is an ethernet-to-DALI interface providing four DALI circuits. It is compatible with Art-Net or sACN and can convert between DMX, RDM and DALI. This means that an Art-Net capable lighting desk can now directly control DALI gear in just the same way as DMX.

Nominated for the Awards for Innovation, Artistic Licence will also be showing matisse f6 dmx and matisse d4 dmx. These products are programmable, multi-function DMX controllers presented in a wall-mount format. All the electronics are mounted on the rear of the panel, so there is no need for external control boxes.
Newly-launched is the Rail-Split RJ45. Developed in response to customer demand, this four-way DMX512 splitter features RJ45 connectors on the input and all outputs, making it a breeze to install using Cat5 patch cables. The product also eliminates the need for separate DC power supplies, as it is mains powered and supports any international voltage.
The next generation of Artistic Licence ethernet-to-DMX gateways has arrived and will naturally feature prominently on the stand. Based on a more powerful chip technology, the range provides full support for the award-winning Art-Net 4 protocol, giving access to impressive new functionality not offered in earlier releases.
