PLASA 2018: Chauvet showcases hot new products

Among the highlights at the Chauvet Professional stand J30 will be the Maverick Storm 1 Wash. The newest addition to the award-winning Maverick line of moving fixtures, the high-output (over 6000lm) Storm 1 Wash has an IP65 rating, making it suitable for outdoor festival use.
Another fixture for outdoor use is the STRIKE P38, a compact IP65-rated blinder that delivers a punchy output from its 90W warm white LED source. An emulated “amber shift” warms the colour temperature of the light as it dims to mimic incandescent lights. The unit’s IP-rated fan keeps it cool enough for use as a wash.
The company will also be showcasing the COLORado Solo Batten, a powerful batten that projects a single homogenised wash with smooth colour mixing, giving it the appearance of a bright single bar of light without round 'eyes' or pixels.
On the theatrical and broadcast lighting front, Chauvet Professional will be highlighting the Ovation F-915VW, a high-power variable white Fresnel-style fixture that utilises the company’s unique six-colour LED system. This fixture projects a bright, beautifully soft field of light in nearly any temperature of white with high CRI and CQS, making it ideal for theatres and TV studios.
