The event was co-presented by Vladimir Lukasevich, resident lighting designer for the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg and Rainer Weggen, Selecon's market manager for Germany, Austria & Switzerland using a mix of presentational techniques and hands-on experiences with Selecon luminaires.
Alexey Kapustin from Selecon dealer, Sistema, was responsible for the organisation of the event and he was delighted with the interest shown by the attendees and the professional and capable manner in which the presentations were handled.
Rainer Weggen commented, "The response shown by the Russian professionals was very gratifying to see. Many of the major theatres in Russia, eager for new technology, are already using our Selecon luminaires and as funding permits this base of enthusiastic users will grow."
