The staff is retained in its entirety and current managing director Gavin Weatherall continues to run the company, which will now trade as a specialist subdivision of Star Rigging focusing on theatre and trade show/corporate work. He will also take up a place on the board of SEGL as a director and shareholder.

"The Rigging Partnership has supplied SEGL with specialist input in several very high profile projects over the last few years, especially those involving complex motion control, and we are delighted to now be able to offer these skills and services in-house."
The Rigging Partnership will continue to be based in the heart of London's West End at Archer Street Studios in Soho, making the premises into Star Events Group's first London office.
