The International Stage Technology Conference organised by DTHG will be an integral part of Stage|Set|Scenery
Germany - Event industry experts now have an opportunity to help shape the content of two Stage|Set|Scenery formats at the international trade show and the International Stage Technology Conference. They are currently invited to submit their entries for papers at the International Stage Technology Conference and for the Safety in Action stage. The deadline is 3 December 2014.

The International Stage Technology Conference organised by DTHG will be an integral part of Stage|Set|Scenery. Taking place in Hall 4.2 and consisting of two parallel forums, it features an international symposium, lectures, workshops, seminars, round tables and presentations and is an ideal opportunity to find out about current and future industry developments and to actively contribute to the event. Applicants are requested to email their papers to: conference@stage-set-scenery.de. A jury will examine all the programme entries and speakers will be notified on 31 January 2015.

One of the topics of great concern to the events industry is that of safety at events. The Safety in Action stage in Hall 3.2 will broadly examine the topic of work and visitor safety in the context of safety at events. Based on the example of a traditional evening event, a look will be taken at the various work routines from the moment trucks are unloaded through to soundchecks in the context of the safety issues involved.

Trade visitors will be able to witness the various routines first-hand. There will be scientifically researched and from an educational point of view outstanding lectures which will focus mainly on work safety, scenography, event technology, visitor safety, stewarding and paramedic services as well as fire safety and set construction.

Applicants are requested to email their papers to: safety@stage-set-scenery.de. The partners of the Safety in Action stage are Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft, the Theatre and Event Technology Faculty of Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin and the team of xEMP, extra Entertainment Media Publishing oHG. Each of these programme entries will also be examined by a jury. Again, speakers will be notified on 31 January 2015.
