This year's yuletide theme features a giant white and blue Christmas star, which spans the width of the impressive red-bricked building (located on Store Street, just off Tottenham Court Road). The glittering star is made up of over 32 strobe lighting strips, which radiate sparkling light from a large-scale centrepiece star. As well as the metres of white and blue strobe lights, there are also a number of blue lights located at ground level, which bathe the building in a shimmering blue wash of light.
The eye-catching lighting scheme took a team of 16 people working over a total of 380 hours to design, create and build - and so great was the engineering feat for the external star, that the traffic outside the building had to be stopped while two giant cranes were used to put the centre of the star in place.
As well as the grand exterior decorations, internally the building has been decorated with a lighting display made up of a delicate cluster of golden stars projected onto the walls and floor of the Atrium.
Year after year, the Imagination Group has created their famous Christmas lighting display, with some London Taxi drivers even describing them as the 'unofficial' Christmas Lighting for the 'Noho' area of London, with many of them often taking detours to show tourists the impressive display. The lighting scheme will be displayed until the 29 December.
