UK - The 27th ABTT Theatre Show (15-16 June 2005, Royal Horticultural Halls, London) will feature a record 130+ exhibiting companies, the organizers report. The show will also include a host of product launches and presents a broad cross-section of products and services designed for use in theatres and auditoria. Responding to the growth of integrated systems-led designs, ABTT 2005 delivers a convergence of technologies. From lighting systems and rigging, staging and high level access solutions, to sound, communications and broadcast solutions, ABTT embraces the entire technical spectrum, which includes the latest in seating and DDA solutions, say the organizers.

Among the new products on show, Euro Seating UK will showcase its new 'reproduction-style' chairs, which have been designed for traditional or English Heritage projects. Spanish seating manufacturer, Figueras, will showcase a host of contemporary seating ideas. Martin Professional will present their latest lighting fixtures, and MA Lighting will promote their complete systems solutions, while PRG Europe will display its range of products and services as a leading supplier of lighting to the business of entertainment and in particular the theatre.

LX Designs will present its LxDesigner CAD package for lighting designers, while Avolites will showcase its range of quality lighting control products, including its Pearl 2004 and the Diamond 4 series, plus its range of ART 2000 fixed installation dimmers. Lighting Logic, will present the new XTC console from LSC Lighting, capable of handling up to 100 fixtures via its innovative PatPAD. Also from LSC, the new EKO compact dimmer system, which has already been used in theatre applications with great success.

Making its debut at ABTT 2005, Telectra will present its new Ice*Lighting - "a computer that believes it's an entertainment lighting fixture", while Lee Filters will show its new range of Quick Rolls, providing a fast and economic option.

On the rigging front, exhibitors will include Summit Steel, Kinesys Elevation, Hall Stage, Stage Technologies, LTM and Triple E, while audio companies represented at the show will include Trantec - showing the new S6000HTX handheld transmitter; Theatre sound specialist Orbital will launch its Pro Audio Sales Division, and displaying products including HME's DX200 license-exempt digital wireless comms system, SFX show control and sound FX software, Digidesign's Venue console and Pro Tools editing suites. Martin Audio will show its new AQ Series; d&b audiotechnik will present its Remote network, and Alcons Audio will exhibit its Q-series, which completes the company's range of "theatre sound solutions". Finally, as the sole UK distributor for AXYS loudspeakers, Duran Audio will exhibit this range designed for theatre applications.
