SSE Events will be based at SSE's base in Hayes, where the Group's Contract Rental and Audio Installations business, SSE London is based. Canegreen, the North London audio rental company that joined SSE last year is also currently moving its operations from Tottenham to Hayes.

Andrew will work alongside SSE and Canegreen project managers, allowing him to take full advantage of the Group's technical resources. This includes a multimillion pound hire inventory which will enable him to offer a much greater level of choice to his clients."

Sigma Fabrications - At the same time, SSE Audio Group has announced the launch of Sigma Fabrications - the new name on flightcases and other custom fabrications manufactured by SSE Audio Group. It's a new brand for a very well established pedigree: SSE has made a range of products including flightcases since 1976. As a distinctive brand, Sigma Fabrications will reach out to new markets and seek new opportunities.
SSE Audio Group MD John Penn commented: "The new name heralds our desire to increase the profile of our manufacturing division and to make it a stand-alone entity, independent from our hire and sale divisions. While Sigma Fabrications will continue to provide manufacturing support for hire and sales, it will now be able to serve its own external client base more effectively. There has sometimes been a perceived conflict of interest for other rental companies when they purchase our products - especially when they carry the SSE logo. Sigma Fabrications will work hard to service the needs of all our customers."
Sigma Fabrications can custom fabricate a wide array of products for use throughout the entertainment production industry including cabinets, flightcases, stage risers, set parts, dollies and rigging equipment.Based at the Group's Redditch headquarters, Sigma Fabrications has extensive design and manufacturing facilities. Products are designed using CAD systems, enabling virtual prototyping as well as accuracy and consistency. Fully rendered 3D models can be created providing a clear visual impression of what the final product will look like. It also means units can be reproduced with complete accuracy from designs at a later date.
